Fun with Papa and JeJe

We had a big fun time and a nice long visit with my mom and dad. They had lots of fun lovin' on Natalie, playing with her, taking her for walks, reading to her, playing on the beach, and many many other things. I was so thrilled to have them come for such a long visit, and sad to see them go. I cherished the time I had. And a big thank you to them for all their wonderful help! They were both work-horses while they were here despite my insistance that they relax. I appreciate everything they did - fixed the fence, finished changing out all the outlets and light switches, sanded the door jam in our bathroom so it open and closes now, mowed the yard twice and edged, laundry, and other basic everyday house things. I even savored the little things, like not having to make the coffee. :)
Of course, we took lots of photos while they were here.
Also big news on the Natalie front. She started crawling this week! And, she said her second word - Elmo. Mom got her a little Elmo doll and she loves it. It was SO cute. She hasn't said it since, but she is back to talking more. She took like a 5 day break from talking. I guess she was too focused on trying to learn how to crawl.
Last Saturday, we headed to Anna Maria Island, our favorite beach spot. It was beautiful as usually, but a little windy.

First Ice cream - Dairy Queen - YUM YUM! (Mommy's favorite. :))

Story Time

Watching Papa mow the yard. She got SO excited. Her little legs were just a shakin'.

I'll have to post more later. I'm tired and going to bed. Good Night!

Always Growing and Changing

Natalie continues to grow and change all the time. It seems like almost every day she is doing something new. Just this week she has: -Learned to get back into the sitting position from being on her tummy. - Started "chewing" her food. -Began to make clicking noises with her tongue. The most humorous thing was at dinner one night. Strangely enough, Natalie isn't real big on fruit. She will gladly eat carrotts, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, and squash any day over bananas, peaches, and applesauce. Well, one night at dinner mom was trying to get her to finish some yogurt and peaches she had left over for lunch while I got her peas together. Well she was eating the peaches and yogurt just fine until she saw me from across the room mixing up her peas and rice. Immediately, she refused to eat any more of the peaches, and then proceeded to down every last bite of her peas. It is amazing how smart they are at such an early age! She is lots and lots of fun. We are really enjoying having JeJe here, and are excited for Papa to join us on Monday! Natalie isn't the only one getting spoiled here. Mom has been SUCH a big help the last couple of weeks. Natalie also got her first swimming pool experience last Friday at Aunt LaLa and Uncle Dick's house. It was a hit and she really enjoyed it, so we decided to get a little pool for our yard. Here's a few misc. shots: In my adorable little strawberry outfit from my JoJo. Chillin' in my stroller. She likes to hang one of her legs over the side. It's hilarious. My cute tank top from Nana. And finally, my first vanilla wafer. I LOVED it! Ate every morsel till it was gone. :)
We FINALLY figured out how to load video on the blog, so here is our first successful attempt. This is Natalie about a month ago when she first started saying "mama mama mama". She didn't feel good at the time, but she was chatty nevertheless. :)
