For the Cure

Natalie would like to remind everyone that October is breast cancer awareness month. Get screened early and often. If you are able, breastfeed your babies - it will reduce your risk (yet another benefit!). In related news, Natalie had her first cup of whole milk. The transition has begun. We are starting off giving her half leche and half milk. She did great with it! :)

Almost Walking

Well, we have had a bit of a blogging hiatus. Last week our Concordia Brothers and Sisters came down for a fun time at the beach, Anna Maria Island. We rented a beach house and all had a big fun time relaxing and enjoying each other's company. 8 adults, one expecting in April, and 6 kids age 5 and under all the way down to 3 months. It was a wild time, but great. Unfortunately, we were morons and left our camera at home. We are awaiting pictures from our friends and will post when we get some.... Here's a teaser for now:

In Natalie news, she is almost 1! I can't believe it. This year has been a blurr, but a great one. She has started sharing her food with us which we find adorable and she finds hilarious and wildly entertaining. This coming week, we are going to start the transition to whole milk. I hope that goes well! The last couple of days she has been dragging her blanket around and taking it all over the house with her. I can "chase" her now and she giggles which is lots of fun, and she is almost walking on her own now. Here's a video from yesterday. You can see how close she's getting.

And just because she's so darn cute, here's some recent pictures of our sweet pea:

Cute Factor = 10

Granna Sue sent lots of cute outfits this week for Miss Natalie Shea. She's definitely going to be stylin'. :)
One thing she sent was a cute little tutu to wear for her first birthday. Of course we HAD to try it on. This isn't the complete outfit, but, dang. She is just so stinkin' cute! :) There will certainly be more tutu pictures to come.....

Thanks Granna Sue! I believe I like it. :)Can't you tell?
